Great adventure, comfort, food, peace. The accommodations were absolutely beautiful, clean, and high quality—though we had great weather so barely able to take full advantage of the spacious rooms and comfortable lounging areas. Great hikes (intense!) and days on the water, followed by hot tub, sauna, and well-timed massage made for satisfying and packed days. Every dinner was a treat—and the best steak after the craziest hike (ALL the way up Trek Tagua Tagua takes a lot out of ya) was absolutely appreciated! The kitchen chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff are the best. We were well looked-after by Rodrigo, Noe, and Gaucho ;) while Mati and Lucho made sure we got where we were going (and back). I would recommend this place over just about any other on earth—take your sense of adventure, love of nature, tough boots, waterproof layers, and flashlight. Leave your phone in your suitcase.

This lodge has everything wonderful rooms, friendly & attentive staff, delicious food, fabulous activities, and breathtaking views at every turn. Regardless of your interest fishing, hiking, swimming, biking, etc. They have it all! We had a group of four couples and we all had the time of our lives. Cannot recommend Barraco Lodge highly enough. Truly a first class experience.

We had a fantastic experience, which mixed rest, nature and adventure. The lodge is a magical place, which preserves its roots and adds good taste and comfort. Our family had a tremendous time at the Barraco Lodge. Our great outdoor ventures like fishing, hiking and canyoning were only surpassed by the cordial and warm hospitality of the lodge‘s team. A wonderful stay all around that we will remember for a long time.

Unforgettable stay the Lodge is the ultimate and in perfect harmony with the wonderful natural environment. Everything was perfect. Matias welcomed us and accompanied us in our stay to please us in everything we came up with and more, thank you so much because we went on vacation 5 days, but we were given a perfect Honeymoon. The fishing day was wonderful. Special thanks to the 2 chefs what a way to eat so rich! they delighted us with pure delicacies that I still relive just by remembering. UNFORGETTABLE!!

One could come here and do nothing and still be blown away—by the magnificent view, the tranquility, and the charming accommodations. The staff raise the bar to another level with their skill and thoughtfulness. Be prepared to "pay to play" but it was so nice being taken care of and a real treat to have incredible food in such a remote location.

- Visit to Thermas del Sol 20mins away and Allerce cabin

Beautiful lodge in an exceptional location. Rooms are big and comfortable, modern bathrooms, all have excellent views of the lake. The Lodge itself is well designed and well furnished and decorated. Thermal spas indoors and outdoors are fantastic. Service is very good, the only unpleasant part is that staff is definitely trained to ask for tips at every possible (and impossible) occasion and, in the end it started to get to us since prices are high enough already to include all service charges and pay the staff a decent salary so that won't be begging for tips all the time. Food was just okay, but the bar service was exceptional: they brought professional barmen from Santiago and their cocktails were just perfect. You can go kayaking on the lake, hiking on the property or just sit on the dock and stare at the lake. We loved it!

Brilliant! Loved it! A really good place to switch off and unwind. That we were there for Christmas made it even more enjoyable. Really attentive customer service, good food and amazing views. Rooms were comfortable. Spa treatment was good. Thermal baths are fun - being in an outside pool with water at 38 degrees on Christmas day is not what Brits are used to! Although we've rated it five stars, it's not perfect - the food is good but not exceptional, and whilst the boat access gives a real sense of being away from everything, it does constrain you as to schedule.

The food was excellent and so was the staff!! Yuri our helicopter pilot was fantastic. I would give him a 10+ not only the way he flew the helicopter but explaining the surrounding area and his takeoff and landings were so smooth. We could not tell that we had even landed.
The only thing they could improve on is that I was cold in the mornings and I was cold at night and maybe there’s something they could do that doesn’t require burning wood to smoke the entire room.

The most recommended of what we do: fishing tour and hike to the waterfall inside the same place.
A must in this area!

What a place to start our Chilean adventure. Arriving by boat to a James Bond style location was just the start. Once here we loved it. Thermal pools, kayaking, views, great food and great people looking after you.. special. Yes some tired bits here and there but dont be fooled its still heavenly. If you want an urban city break then head for new york. If you want off grid luxury this is it. Enjoy. We did

We stayed (unfortunately only) one night at the Puyuhuapi Lodge and it was a positively memorable experience! It is an experience to be picked up from the other side of the lake by boat, the building is an architectural masterpiece and our room directly facing the water was great. Yes, the buildings aren't new and have some patina, but we found it generally well maintained and tastefully decorated. We took the opportunity - despite of the grey weather - to take a swim in the indoor pool as well as a bath in the natural hot water outdoor pools - very special! We had an excellent 3 course dinner with a stunning view on water while being served in an extraordinarily friendly and competent way in the restaurant. There is a set menu with two options per course, but e.g. tasty vegetarian alternatives were created upon request. We found the dinner reasonably priced given the quality. Generally the food is high quality, also at breakfast. We liked the friendly service during transport, at reception, at the bar and especially in the restaurant. We can only recommend a stay here.

What an amazing compound, with multiple cabins, some with private wood-fired hot tubs, all with fantastic views. Everyone of the staff were open and welcoming, from the owners, the concierge, the tour guides, chef & kitchen staff housekeeper, grounds keeper, helicopter pilot (yes, helicopter) to the three amazing dogs. Some of the most amazing food we've had - ever!!!

Our stay at this charming lodge was the highlight of our three week tour of Chile. The location is remote and private, nestled onto the banks of the Tagua Tagua river. The lodge itself is intimate, cosy and incredibly charming. Our room had a stunning view of the river and we could hardly pry ourselves away for the fabulous excursions. Among our favorites were the Tagua Tagua hike (a challenging 9 miles) and the horseback riding. Everything here is top-notch from the food to the guides. Even the owners dogs added to our incredible experience at Barraco. You will not want to leave this majestical place!
